During your course we will provide;

A course manual, handouts and pen
Refreshments throughout the day
Any equipment required to complete the course
A microwave, fridge and toaster will be provided for delegate use if the course is held at a Zero Gravity Safety Location

Course Overview

This full day course brings together the guidance on safe use of ladders and stepladders, with an additional module on ladder inspection, and is designed for any person whose duty it is to use, formally inspect and maintain ladders at work. On successful completion of the course, delegates will have an understanding of: • When it’s right to use a ladder or stepladder • How to select and safely use ladders & stepladders • The law/standards relating to ladders & stepladders • Hazards in the use of ladders & stepladders • Safe storage and handling of ladders & stepladders • When it’s right to inspect a ladder or stepladder • How to carry out a formal inspection, record faults and what do if faults are found

Requirements

None

PPE Required

Can all delegates provide their own safety footwear (Steel toe cap boots), and comfortable working clothing. Gloves are mandatory during practical’s please ensure they are brought with you

ID & Photos

Please ensure you bring a form of ID to verify identity (required by some Awarding Organisations)
A photograph may be required to be taken on the day for ID card issuing purposes
We may also take general photographs for social media purposes etc… If you do not wish to be included in any, please inform your instructor
