During your course we will provide;

A course manual, handouts and pen
Refreshments throughout the day
Any equipment required to complete the course
A microwave, fridge and toaster will be provided for delegate use if the course is held at a Zero Gravity Safety Location

Course Overview

This course provides delegates with a basic knowledge of the dangers and hazards associated with working in a confined space, create a safe system of work and familiarisation with escape techniques. All delegates will be given the knowledge to implement safety measures for confined space entry using a combination of both practical and theoretical training sessions.

Individuals who may be exposed to working in confined space where there is a potentially hazardous working environment

■ Risk Assessment and safe systems of work
■ A thorough understanding of the dangers of confined spaces
■ Principles and use of gas detectors
■ Safe systems of work & permits to work
■ Care and use of access equipment (tripods, Harness etc)
■ Assessments

Requirements

Persons attending this course must be medically fit.

PPE Required

Can all delegates provide their own safety footwear (Steel toe cap boots), and comfortable working clothing. Gloves are mandatory during practical’s please ensure they are brought with you

ID & Photos

Please ensure you bring a form of ID to verify identity (required by some Awarding Organisations)
A photograph may be required to be taken on the day for ID card issuing purposes
We may also take general photographs for social media purposes etc… If you do not wish to be included in any, please inform your instructor
