Course Overview

This course is designed to equip delegates with the necessary skills and knowledge required to enable them to inspect, care for, store and dispose of fall protection.

Who is the course for?

People responsible for carrying out statutory recorded inspections, maintenance and disposal of personal fall protection equipment. This course will provide sufficient information to allow the delegates to form a judgement on the state/condition of an item of fall protection equipment and whether to keep it in service.

Requirements

All delegates wishing to take part on this course will need to have prior knowledge/experience in the use of fall protection equipment

PPE Required

Can all delegates provide their own safety footwear (Steel toe cap boots), and comfortable working clothing. Gloves are mandatory during practical’s please ensure they are brought with you

ID & Photos

  • Please ensure you bring a form of ID to verify identity (required by some Awarding Organisations) 
  • A photograph may be required to be taken on the day for ID card issuing purposes
  • We may also take general photographs for social media purposes etc… If you do not wish to be included in any, please inform your instructor
