Course Details
This is our core introduction to confined space access. It is designed to cover the legislation, working practices and safety requirements for access to all types of confined space, and includes the use of single stage vertical access systems (harnesses, winches and tripods to enter shafts or ladder ways). The course covers the use of escape breathing apparatus, gas detection and communication systems.
During your course we will provide;
- A course manual, handouts and pen
- Refreshments throughout the day
- Any equipment required to complete the course
- A microwave, fridge and toaster will be provided for delegate use if the course is held at a Zero Gravity Safety Location

Persons attending this course must be medically fit.
Can all delegates provide their own safety footwear (Steel toe cap boots), and comfortable working clothing. Gloves are mandatory during practical’s please ensure they are brought with you
- Please ensure you bring a form of ID to verify identity (required by some Awarding Organisations)
- A photograph may be required to be taken on the day for ID card issuing purposes
- We may also take general photographs for social media purposes etc… If you do not wish to be included in any, please inform your instructor
Food is not provided during the course. We have a fridge, microwave, plates, cutlery etc… provided for the duration.
Tea & Coffee will be provided for your refreshment.
