Quadpod Winch

Description

The Quadpod Winch can be mounted onto the legs of the Quadpod and the Multipod to form part of a rescue or hauling system.

Being a capstan winch, load limits are determined by factors such as type/ diameter of rope, number of turns on the drum, etc. During tests with a new 11mm semi-static rope and 2 turns on the drum, the rope started to slip at around 250kg so as not to overload the system components.

A back up system should always be used with the Quadpod winch. We strongly recommend that users are trained in the correct operation of the Quadpod Winch, so that they can understand its uses and limitations.
