During your course we will provide;

A course manual, handouts and pen
Refreshments throughout the day
Any equipment required to complete the course
A microwave, fridge and toaster will be provided for delegate use if the course is held at a Zero Gravity Safety Location

Course Overview

This course is designed to equip delegates with the necessary skills and knowledge required to enable them to inspect, care for, store and dispose of fall protection equipment. Various manufacturers and types of equipment are covered as part of the course giving you a wide array of information and hands on training.

Who is the course for?

People responsible for carrying out statutory recorded inspections, maintenance and disposal of personal fall protection equipment.

Contents Covered

Legislation and management systems including CE marking and standards, Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER), product marking, record keeping, certificates of conformity and disposal of failed items
Equipment inspection and selection including inspection techniques, failure criteria, common failures and obsolescence
Care, maintenance and storage of helmets, full body harnesses, lanyards, retractable type fall arresters, tripods, winches, cables, ropes and karabiners

Requirements

A working knowledge of the equipment being inspected.

PPE Required

ID & Photos

Please ensure you bring a form of ID to verify identity (required by some Awarding Organisations)
A photograph may be required to be taken on the day for ID card issuing purposes
We may also take general photographs for social media purposes etc… If you do not wish to be included in any, please inform your instructor
