During your course we will provide;
- A course manual, handouts and pen
- Refreshments throughout the day
- Any equipment required to complete the course
- A microwave, fridge and toaster will be provided for delegate use if the course is held at a Zero Gravity Safety Location
Course Overview
This course is aimed at people who will be responsible for assembling, dismantling, moving and inspecting mobile access towers when using 3T or Advanced Guardrail (AGR) systems.
Who is the course for?
People who will be responsible for the assembly, dismantling, alteration, moving and inspecting of mobile access towers.
Contents Covered
- How to safely assemble, dismantle, relocate and alter a mobile access tower without risk of personal injury to the delegate or others
- Method instruction both in theory and practical sessions with assessments
- Selecting suitable head protection, footwear protection and gloves during the practical session
- Legislation, regulations and guidance affecting working at height with mobile access towers, PASMA Code of Practice; Product Standards EN 1004, assembling, altering and dismantling towers incorporating current best practice for fall protection, inspection of completed mobile access towers and completion of Tower Inspection Records; hazards affecting the use of mobile access towers and how to avoid them
Requirements
No formal qualifications or experience are necessary but it would be beneficial if delegates had a basic understanding of working at height issues.
PPE Required
Can all delegates provide their own safety footwear (Steel toe cap boots), and comfortable working clothing. Gloves are mandatory during practical’s please ensure they are brought with you
ID & Photos
- Please ensure you bring a form of ID to verify identity (required by some Awarding Organisations)Â
- A photograph may be required to be taken on the day for ID card issuing purposes
- We may also take general photographs for social media purposes etc… If you do not wish to be included in any, please inform your instructor
