High Level Evacuation / Self Rescue – Auto Descent

During your course we will provide;

  • A course manual, handouts and pen
  • Refreshments throughout the day
  • Any equipment required to complete the course
  • A microwave, fridge and toaster will be provided for delegate use if the course is held at a Zero Gravity Safety Location

Course Overview

Our Self Rescue – Auto Descent training course will give candidates the skills to rescue themselves to the ground. It includes anchor point selection, identification of safe descent paths and the risks associated with harness suspension.

Who is the course for?

For workers who may need to evacuate from reach truck or other tall structures, e.g. cab, crane structure, ladder, walkway.

Requirements

People attending this course must be medically fit and should be comfortable with exposure to heights.

PPE Required

Can all delegates provide their own safety footwear (Steel toe cap boots), and comfortable working clothing. Gloves are mandatory during practical’s please ensure they are brought with you

ID & Photos

  • Please ensure you bring a form of ID to verify identity (required by some Awarding Organisations) 
  • A photograph may be required to be taken on the day for ID card issuing purposes
  • We may also take general photographs for social media purposes etc… If you do not wish to be included in any, please inform your instructor
