Heightec TWIST chest ascender

Description

Rope Access chest ascender incorporating X-Cam™. Can be integrated into full harness or

used to link sit & chest harnesses.

X-Cam has a more advanced tooth design than traditional cams and is

more suitable for industrial applications as it does not pluck the rope, so

reducing rate of rope wear.

In tests on 11mm Tectra the average breaking load is around 675kg for

X-Cams versus 535kg for established sharp toothed design.

• Does not jam, even against knots

• Provides high degree of grip on ropes of varying condition

including after rupture of sheath

• Facilitates down-climbing

Profiled attachment points and slimline design ensure that Twist sits flat

against the chest.
