Course Overview

EMF Awareness aims to help organisation to be fully aware of EMF’s, where they occur, the risks involved, and the permissible exposure levels to employees and others, enabling you to appreciate the hazards and risk and take appropriate action. It will help you in demonstrating that your organisation is compliant with the Directive in protecting employees and others from exposure to electromagnetic fields in the workplace

Who is the course for?

The course has been developed by health and safety experts with particular experience working in the area of EMF’s.The result is a high quality training solution that gives managers and employees the awareness to meet their health and safety obligations. The course is for anyone who uses, or may come into contact with EMF’s, as part of their work

Contents Covered

The aim of the course is to provide trainees with an awareness of EMF’s, how it affects activities in
the workplace, and what actions they can take to control the risk. EMF Awareness covers the
following areas:

Requirements

None

PPE Required

Can all delegates provide their own safety footwear (Steel toe cap boots), and comfortable working clothing. Gloves are mandatory during practical’s please ensure they are brought with you

ID & Photos

Please ensure you bring a form of ID to verify identity (required by some Awarding Organisations)
A photograph may be required to be taken on the day for ID card issuing purposes
We may also take general photographs for social media purposes etc… If you do not wish to be included in any, please inform your instructor
