Anchor Fixing and Testing

During your course we will provide;

  • A course manual, handouts and pen
  • Refreshments throughout the day
  • Any equipment required to complete the course
  • A microwave, fridge and toaster will be provided for delegate use if the course is held at a Zero Gravity Safety Location

Course Overview

This training course explains the manufacturing requirements given in BS EN 795 including information on the various classes of permanent anchors.

Who is the course for?

Aimed at those persons required to fix and test permanent anchors for fall protection purposes. Includes practical experience of fixing and testing a selection of commercially available eyebolt anchors.

PPE Required

Can all delegates provide their own safety footwear (Steel toe cap boots), and comfortable working clothing. Gloves are mandatory during practical’s please ensure they are brought with you

ID & Photos

  • Please ensure you bring a form of ID to verify identity (required by some Awarding Organisations) 
  • A photograph may be required to be taken on the day for ID card issuing purposes
  • We may also take general photographs for social media purposes etc… If you do not wish to be included in any, please inform your instructor
